We are a team of many professionals
in our own right, all specialists in our own fields and all from
very diverse backgrounds working together to produce one of the most
spectacular shows to hit the stage in recent years.
Clive Jones - Clive
is now successfully teamed with Producer / Writer Kevin Brooks and
together they have written and produced a considerable portfolio
including rock, pop, and commercial songs.
Clive’s career began in the soul band Pesky Gee! In 1966, and his
first album was produced by the late Gus Dugeon. In 1970 Pesky Gee! then
became the cult progressive rock band ‘Black Widow’. Their classic
album “Sacrifice” (produced by Roy Thomas Baker of Queen fame) is
still regarded as the ultimate black magic album. Clive penned the
single “Come to the Sabbat” on the album and it is still a huge
global success, and is a popular cover for today’s metal bands.
Spurred on by his performance at the legendary 1971
Isle
of Wight
festival and after 5 ‘Black Widow’ albums, Clive then formed and
fronted the very strange and theatrical “Agony Bag” writing all the
songs for their album “Feelmazumba” plus the much covered single
“Rabies is a Killer”.
Today Clive is
still in demand and is as busy as ever! As well as maintaining audience
contact through his weird one man show ‘Dr Pesky’, he writes songs
and plays Sax & Flute on the albums of some of today’s leading
edge metal bands. These include Death SS, Abiogenesi, and Taxi. In 2003
several of the worlds leading rock bands came together to produce a
tribute album to Black Widow, largely as a tribute to Clive who was
asked to write the musical introduction to the album. The Italian rock
press continues to maintain close contact with Clive, and his career
today is followed in minute detail by thousands of fans around the
world. This is evidenced by his recent release in the
US
(2004), with a reformed ‘Agony Bag’ and appearances on US and
Russian rock radio shows.
Kevin Brooks- aka K - Boy
K-Boy’s background can’t be
faulted. He was signed to EMI Records as an artist under the name 'Release'
during which time he developed his writing and production skills. He
then joined Joey Negro (Dave Lee) and Andrew Livingstone, with whom his
studio expertise was employed to engineer the hit singles "BAMBOOGIE",
Jakatta’s "AMERICAN DREAM", "THE REAL LIFE",
"MUST BE THE MUSIC", and 911’s "MORE THAN A
WOMAN".
Other tracks that have received the K-Boy magic include: "OVER
YOU" by Warren Clarke, "BAD HABIT" by One Phat Deeva,
Lottie’s mix of Jamiroqaui’s "LOVE FOOLOSIPHY", Lionel
Richie’s "DON’T STOP THE MUSIC" and "ANGEL
STREET" by M-People.K-Boy’s most successful collaboration has to
be his co-productions with Mark Wilkinson (ex Problem Kids) and Paul
Jackson (top DJ and previous Ministry resident) under the name Kidstuff.
Together they have pulled off some of the coolest sounds around with
their first two releases, "ALRIGHT" and "JETFUNK" on
Fluential, which were caned by the likes of Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine,
Tenaglia, Lottie and Carl Cox. "DO WHAT YOU WANNA" on Loaded
and "
KOMINSKY
PARK
" on Honchos have kept the fires burning. Kidstuff’s remix
credits include The Beginerz, Starchaser, and Alison Limerick.
K-Boy has been involved
in various high profile collaborations and he is in constant demand by
other top producers who employ his studio expertise to gloss up their
own products. His own tracks -such as the brilliant "SEXY" and
"SESAME", released through Superbunny Records, are cited by
many DJ’s as their favourite tunes of recent times. He routinely
produces re-mixes for the likes of Kylie, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, TLC
and Supersister.
