The Manageress is a cigar smoking, tough business woman exuding attitude and confidence. She is pushing Adam into his role as the best boy pop star because she has invested time and money into his success. She doesn’t seem to really care for his welfare so long as he can perform and provide financial reward and recognition for her.

 Her character is based upon Madonna. Sexy, provocative, controversial but strong and business minded. The manageress in the first scene is portrayed as professional and business like in her attitude and her clothing. By wearing black trousers and a combination of leather, chiffon scarf and neckerchief, flashing fishnets and high boots she has the essence of power, style and professionalism. 

 By her costume being more reserved in this scene, this style will appeal to those in the audience who wish to participate in copying the characters but don’t feel that they can be extrovert enough to wear some of the more outlandish outfits, so they can still feel part of the performance, yet can dress comfortably. 

In the next scene her outfit for the red carpet is sexy, revealing and over the top in glamour and style appealing to those who wish to dress up more or cross dress. 

By the character wearing the sabbat man jewellery, neckerchief (can be a bandana) the audience can buy the merchandise and wear it to further participate and support the performance.
